This Privacy Policy describes how Rebuf ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Access

Rebuf requests access to the following on your device:

• Photo Library: To scan for duplicate photos, similar images, screenshots, and large videos. Your photos are analyzed entirely on your device.
• Contacts: To identify duplicate or incomplete contacts for cleanup. Contact data is processed locally on your device.

How Your Data Is Processed

All photo scanning, duplicate detection, and contact analysis happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos, videos, or contacts on any external server. Your media and personal data never leave your iPhone.

Information We Collect

We may collect limited, non-personal information to improve the App:

• Usage Analytics: Anonymous data about which features are used and general app performance (e.g., crash reports). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Subscription Information: Purchase and subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not have access to your payment details — Apple handles all billing.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your photos, videos, or screenshots
• Your contact information or address book
• Your location data
• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Browsing history or data from other apps

Third-Party Services

Rebuf uses Apple's StoreKit 2 for subscription management. When you subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple under their Privacy Policy. We do not share data with any other third-party services.

Data Storage & Security

Since all scanning and processing happens on your device, there is no cloud storage of your personal data. Any app preferences are stored locally on your device. Items in the Secret Space feature are stored securely on your device and protected by device authentication (Face ID or passcode).

Children's Privacy

Rebuf is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data for us to delete or provide. If you have any questions about your data, please contact us. You can revoke photo library or contacts access at any time through your iPhone's Settings app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
